For this project we have to make our own musical instruments and the instrument has to play a full octave. The band got to have a wind instrument, a percussion instrument, a string instrument. At the section below I will show you how the instruments work.

Concepts:
frequency- the rate at which waves pass in waves per second.
period- the time needed for one complete cycle of vibration to pass a given point.
amplitude- the maximum displacement or distance moved by a point on a vibrating body or wave measured from its equilibrium position.
wave length- the distance from crest to crest of a wave.
wave speed- the rate at which a wave moves.
longitudinal wave- a wave with displacement in the same direction as its motion.
transverse wave- a wave with displacement perpendicular to the direction of motion.

Reflection:
In this project all of our team members focused on their work and produced great results. Nothing went wrong in the building process and I put a lot of effort into instrument, but the only thing that went wrong is the tuning process, during the tuning process one of the strings went against the screw, and as I was tightening the screw the string snapped. There is a lot things that i learned during this project. One thing is anything but fishing line will not catch on to the screw when tightening the screw, so i have to make compromises. Another thing is a empty box will increase the sound while a block of wood will make less sound. In this project I think I can do better on getting the bow and the strings quicker, and I would not focus on the project occasionally , in the future I would work on better productivity. I hope this we can continue the areas that we are strong in on to the next project.
